Tata Motors is gearing up for one of its biggest product offensives yet. Based on the brand’s official news, more than 15 new models are lined up for India by 2030, including facelifts, next-gen versions, and seven all-new nameplates. The highlight will be the production-ready Tata Sierra and the futuristic Avinya EV, both set to redefine Tata’s SUV and electric portfolio.
Tata Sierra – Petrol & EV Confirmed
As per recent dealer updates, the legendary Tata Sierra will return before the end of FY2025. It will debut first as an EV, followed by a petrol version powered by a new 1.5-litre TGDI engine producing 168 PS and 280 Nm. A 2.0-litre diesel—the same one used in the Harrier and Safari—will also be offered, making the Sierra a versatile option for Indian buyers.
Tata Avinya – Premium EV Sub-Brand
The futuristic Tata Avinya will take center stage later in the decade. Expected to become Tata’s most premium product, the Avinya will preview Tata’s new design language and cutting-edge EV technology. From 2027 onwards, Avinya could spin into a dedicated sub-brand, offering multiple body styles under its umbrella.
Upcoming Tata Lineup (2025–2030)
Alongside Sierra and Avinya, Tata has four more undisclosed models under development—two ICE-powered (codenamed ICE Product A & B) and two EVs (EV Product X & Y). The company is also preparing a compact SUV, speculated to be called Tata Scarlet, aimed at strengthening its affordable range.
To support this aggressive rollout, Tata has committed an investment of ₹35,000 crore, highlighting its focus on both ICE and EV markets.
