26 New Hyundai Cars Launching in India

Hyundai has revealed its most ambitious plan yet for the Indian market, with 26 new Hyundai cars launching in India by FY2030. The lineup will include a mix of internal combustion (ICE), hybrid, and fully electric vehicles, aiming to capture demand from both traditional buyers and the rapidly growing EV segment. Out of the 26 models, 20 will be ICE-powered while six will be pure EVs – a clear sign of Hyundai’s balanced approach to the future of mobility.

Hyundai is committed to expanding its EV presence in India with locally manufactured models to keep costs competitive. Its current lineup includes the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Creta Electric, but the future holds much more. The Ioniq 9 will soon arrive as the flagship EV, while compact electric SUVs based on the Inster EV are expected as early as 2026.

Meanwhile, Hyundai is also investing in hybrid technology. The next-gen Creta and a brand-new three-row SUV (positioned between Alcazar and Tucson) are expected to debut with strong hybrid systems by 2027.

New SUVs & ICE Models

Despite its EV push, Hyundai will continue to upgrade its ICE lineup. The next-generation Venue is set to arrive this festive season with refreshed styling, upgraded interiors, and new features. A Bayon-inspired compact SUV is also in development for India.

Popular hatchbacks like the Grand i10 Nios and i20 will see facelift updates to keep them competitive in the small car segment. SUVs, however, will remain Hyundai’s backbone in India, with several new models lined up to strengthen its portfolio.

Strengthening Charging Infrastructure

To ensure smooth adoption of EVs, Hyundai is actively expanding charging infrastructure across major Indian cities. The automaker is setting up fast-charging networks, dealer-level charging points, and partnerships with third-party providers to make EV ownership more practical.
